Unfortunately time is the main thing that works for that. Until then use lots of distractions. The happier the distraction the better. And process your feelings through writing/journaling. That can help a lot.

Well you did question the difficulty of it. Personally, unless I felt my children were unsafe physically or mentally, I wouldn't divorce with young children, but that's my choice.
If someone else would, that's theirs, but I don't think it's ever uncomplicated.
