I made up my Girlfriend on Facebook?

I need help. Or at least I think I do.

I recently ended my relationship with my Ex-Girlfriend of 9 months about 3 months ago because I simply was not in love with her anymore. Heres the deal. Im 17 and Ive been in only 3 real relationships, and 1 fake one.

yes after my second break up in 8th grade I simply made up my girlfriend.br />

Now since I've ended my recent real relationship of 9 months I've started "dating" the fake one. On Facebook I've been using the pictures of a girl that I have never met in person but befriended on a different social site. Her alias will be "LAN".

I have over 100 pictures from LAN. I know here real name and eve0n where she lives, "Durham England" and I live in the US. She has a BF also. Now I am in love with LAN or at least her pictures, If I could draw my perfect woman it would be LAN. I guess part of me ending my relaitons with my last real GF is because I think I love LAN. Get rid of it all...DO it now, get rid of anything fake. Tell your RL friends w/e excuse you like. They'll buy it, because people either don't care that much, or aren't expecting to be lied to.

But just dismantle all your VR life and games now. Before people find out you've been lying and you get sucked deeper into the illusion.

shugabooga	Posted Oct 24th, 2009 at 11:09PM this is a tough one......you're concerned about your behavior and that's a healthy sign. maybe you should just dismantle all your facebook profiles and stay off the social networking sights for a while. it's 'virtual reality' and at your age, there are just so many other things to do - i can't even begin to list them. for one, think about your immediate future: making good grades and deciding what you'll do after graduation. focus on YOURSELF, develop your 'real' skills, social skills, networking and making some friends, and moving on, hopefully to college or technical school of some kind. maybe you could get a part-time job to fill the hours that you aren't in school or studying. too much face time with the computer isn't healthy. take your creativity and commitment and apply it to something else. good luck to you...hugs Rated: +2Vote for this!
