    I bare my teeth as a sign of hostility as well, but usually you can tell if it's hostile or not by the facial expression.

    When a dog shows it's teeth, it could mean a few other things. It depends on the gesture it gives you. if it's staring straight at you and growling, yes, it'll attack you. If it just did something bad and doesn't want you to know, it'll show it's teeth, like in the video, " Denver the Guilty Dog".

    When people get frustrated, they'll say " Ugghh!!" and show their teeth...
