well, it sounds to me like your wife's little slutty friends are trying to come between to two of you. That sucks. I would try going to social events with her and meet some new people. Maybe some with some morals...values...self respect...dignity...etc.

I am sure glad that you have not addressed this question to us guys as it is a very delicate one! Clearly, the situation is causing you to feel insecure which does not lend itself to a comfortable relationship. Ideally, your wife should understand your feelings and the unnecessary pressure that is being placed on the marriage and should keep her companions at the other end of the phone. She really needs to decide, is it to be marriage or buddies.

This is a common feature to many marriages but mostly it is the men who continue to seek to be one of the boys and to still cling to their freedom!

It shows lack of maturity.She wants to be a kid and not a grown adult.You can expect trouble any time...maybe that will snap her out of it.

It says her friends do not have their priorities straight...and, in all likelihood, neither does she.

some friends are old (high school/college) so what was cool back then is different when you start becoming more responsible in life. i'm sure your wife is well aware of her friends behaviors but that doesn't necessarily mean she has, identifies with or agrees with their lifestyle choices.

Age plays a factor. Younger women like to run around more than older.

Also your wife's past could help you tell if shes likely to cheat or not. Some women with bad past relationships have a tendency to cheat because they can't believe someone would love them that much, and some who've been sexually a bused will either cheat because they're used to shallow sex lives, or will avoid other men to avoid the situation again. Knowing your wife's past and her response to a situation like that would help you know if you should be worried.

I for one, have been sexually, and emotionally abused, and though i love affection, because of it i'm much to skittish to cheat, although if i feel lonely, i can become inclined to flirt with other's for the affection.
I'm also friends with 'slutty' girls and i've never cheated on anyone, although i flirt with friends and kiss friends in a non romantic mannor. It's more like I watn the attention from flirting and the affection of knowing i have close enough friends to kiss like family. Your relationshiop with your wife and her past all account for how much she affection/attention she needs and how much she feels like shes getting. You should have a talk with her about how much you love her and judge her reaction to find out if she feels like you love her as much as she needs to know it.

i think that deep down she knows what her friends are- it shows when she believed you. maybe she doesnt care what others do- maybe you should trust her more, she didnt cheat, did she? just cuz her friends are what they are doesnt mean you married one!

Truly you are your environment to some degree. People by nature like to hangout with people either similar to themselves or with people who bring out something in them that makes them feel good about themselves. To me this would be concerning. I wonder why she hangs out with people like this? Maybe she was like this in the past and has changed but still has the same friends? I don't know, only you know your wife. You can't pick her friends for her but maybe if she knows her friends are hitting on you, she should reconsider who she hangs out with?? Just my thoughts...

Just because they are slutty it doesnt mean your wife is. And they are only jealous of your marriage, so don't let them ruin it, just ignore them, and be happy, if your wife is right for you she would never cheat anyway. x

There is the saying "You are who you hangout with", however that doesn't always ring true.

You know your wife, more than anyone else. If she is going out with these women, dressed provocatively and acting inappropriately, you may have something to worry about.

The fact that one of her girlfriends has hit on you and she is aware of it and still hangs out with that particular woman, doesn't say much about your wife! If a friend of mine hit on my husband, I would snap - obviously someone who would be removed from my circle of friends.

I don't know, there are so many details that are needed to make an honest and clear judgment on the situation.

She can be herself with her friends. She probably has never cheated on you. Her actions are telling you something different. Explain to her how she makes you feel. Then follow her one night and see what she is up too. But be prepared it may not be what you want to know.
