I need some opinions here, help?

So today I went to dinner with this girl I met through friends, I've only met her a couple of times and we seem to click well. She called me last week and we agreed to meet today. We had a great time at dinner, we talked about everything and it seems a good fit. She invited me to go shoe shopping with her tomorrow during my lunch break and then to this Avon brunch thing on Saturday, and that's when my intuition went uh-oh! She sells Avon and now I'm being a little paranoid about her motives for becoming my friend, does she like me as a friend? or she just wants to get me involved in this Avon cult of hers?
I don't have many friends and I really like this girl but I don't want to make a fool of myself letting someone use me to sell avon.
Am I being super paranoid? (I'm thinking yes but let me know)

No one says you have to sell Avon so go and enjoy the company and if the worst happens, and that is what she wants, smile sweetly and tell her it has been fun but no sell. You never have to see her again, but if you don't go bc of the feeling you may miss out on a great friendship.

You don't have anything to lose. You don't have to sell Avon. Give it a try and see how it goes. We can all use another friend! I wish you the best!

I understand your situition. I have met some cases like this. I will say to them :" I don't like selling or money among friends. That is my rule. It makes me not feel well. Are we friends?"
If she disappears, you can find the answer for your question. Hoping this will not happen.
But you know a truth is that Avon makes me allergy.

I agree, thats going too far on her part just to sell you something. I say go for it.

Go with her, give it a go and see what happens.
You will never know her if you do not learn more about her interests.
Do not make quick assumptions, make a final decision later.

There is a chance she might be trying to sell products to you. Well, if I were you I'd still go and see how's things are.

I wouldn't buy things I don't want and I'd make it clear to her. If she gave the signs she's dropping you then you'd know for sure. I don't see how you'd be make a fool by this - it's her loss if she misses out on being your friend.

But I say, you should still go and see what happens. After all, you guys clicked. Who knows, she's probably thinking, "I don't know if she's going to buy or not and I don't really care either way; she's so much fun!" The invitation to brunch is probably an added WhyNot :)

Don't be paranoid. Just give it a chance and see what happens. Time will tell what her motives are.

Tell her you are rally busy and don't go. If she stays friends with you after you don't buy anything.... after like the tenth time she asks you to, then she is a friend, not just a user.

Well I don't know b/c those Avon people take it very serouis and what you are thinking is a possibility. But maybe not so I would go the first time. You never know she might not ever ask you to go again, she might be testing you! But if it does become a habit just come out with it and ask her.

Go, enjoy yourself, and if the subject comes up about avon, tell her you aren't interested. If you remain friends, then she was being truthful.....if not, you have your answer. Good luck.
