Because they see us as allies to the USA; and, sadly, there is much ignorance over international affairs in all countries.
The President of Egypt has already said that he knows the USA is not responsible for the film but, as is stated above, the effects of the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Shabab,amongst others, is huge. They benifit from whipping up anti-western feeling at any possible juncture.
Remember the fuss over "The Satanic Verses" and Salmon Rushdie? Most of the people who pranced around with placards have, even to this day, have not read the book, so how can they be offended? Rhetorical question. My suspicion is that the murderer of the American Ambassador has not seen the film/trailer. I know I haven't.
