I thank God for all the good things I have and others around me don't.. do you ?

My only point here is that I am thankful to almighty up above for all what has been given to me, making me better than many around me in my own way. I mean no harm to anyone.

You're saying you're thanking god for not giving things to others?

donotfollowme: EarthlingWise often goes out of her way to misinterpret God questions, but the second half of your question isn't necessary and it does have a double meaning, emphasizing difference as it does and therefore implying some degree of superiority - i know you just meant to say you know how lucky you, but you can say that just by thanking God for all you have - really the second half just confuses the importance of your original message

No, not really, though I do thank the Master for the countless goodness granted me (inhales Air -- ah, Deo gratias, blessed to be able to live another few minutes!)

I also am thankful for the challenges, for the hard, dry parts of the trails I walk, and for the times when I have been able to ease the suffering of others.

Wouldn't want to get too hooked on the sweets -- the taste cloys after a while, and it might be hard to let it go when the time comes.

Dear god, ta very much for all my stuff and pals and that, im glad mrs Oconnor over the road doesnt have any friends like what i do. She lets her dog crap on my driveway. She should be friendless. Oh and before i forget can you help me get a nicer car than the Schmidts, theyre probably related to war criminals or something anyway and shouldnt have the best vehicle in the neighbourhood. Again thanks big fella, keep up the good work in the middle east.

every single thing i have prayed for has turned to nothing. and what sickens me more is when people ask why god lets all the bad and sad things happen in the world , its "god works in strange ways" or "its the fault of the devil" PAH!

well! I also am not very happy and content in my life and all what I have..my dreams are still dreams and big prayers are still in the air..but I still am thankful that I am alive and have all my body parts functioning well. I know many people who crave for a normal life. I thank God I am better than MANY in my own way ;)

I do thank God. When ever i am thankfull. I think it is important to be real with God. There is no point in faking anything with God. What ever one says to God they must be genuine in their words.

To whoever has upper power on my life and brought positive things to it, i could say thank you. But I am far from beginning to define that upper being, if such exists.
