Some do, some don't, and many do simply for the tax break

LOL!.. that is just a drama to save taxes... They really don't care whether you read it or not.. they just want it on paper, so it gets journalised. , which they can file , to claim tax incentives... The idea of charity too is that.. the money never reaches the beneficiary.

we can not control how it is published but for those that aren't seen or heard , basically you and I can not tell who should do what with their time and money it is up to them not you and I

I have to disagree. At least by % of their money, the rich probably contribute the least to humanities well being.

Charitable help is not something that you should brag or announce. The purpose is to help those in need, not to self promote. That is how I was raised anyway

Many do, often through anonymous donations & NOT just to avoid tax!

If ur giving money 4 anything it's nice 2 be appreciated so I think it's ok 2 brag as long as the charities get the money who cares

Isn't this the same with all people? Some give publicly some give privately, and some don't give at all.

Some people do...some people don't. Just like poor people. The difference is, that the extremely wealthy actually have the ability to solve some issues that regular folk couldn't, if they donated their time or money.

No. They are greedy evil people that are only out for themselves and didn't earn their wealth. Didn't you get the memo?

Of course they'll brag. It's one thing to be known for being rich, but they'd also want everyone to know how cool they are. Or at least that's what I think, I could be wrong.
