    Well I would really ask why did you want them?
    Do you have some reason to distrust him?
    Why don't you have a joint account?
    Whatever the issue is maybe you should sit him down a talk.
    If he has given you copies then he obviously feels he has nothing to hide.
    Couples sort out their finances in different ways.
