Use nutritional thinking, in choosing ingredients, not personal (adult) desires or tastes.
i dont know my neighbor tried that to save money and froze it in icetrays but she got annoyed and stopped it takes too much time and effort
I would be afraid that the food might contain too much salt, sugar, etc., for a baby, and probably not as much nutrition as baby food. Personally, I wouldn't do it.
I wouldn't worry about sugar and salt since the food make for them should have less than a canned baby food. steam (don't boil) fresh vegetables like carrots and them puree them. you can do the same with apples.
