IDK. There's something timeless about the slide-rule, with all its history with logarithms and how it works and all. There's also a particular sense of attractiveness they have that calculators just don't have. I don't know what it is, but they're just as attractive as modern-day calculators looks-wise. ._.

Depends on what type of math. I don't like doing rote arithmetic by hand. It's kind of pointless. Now integration, derivation, summation--stuff like that. Murr.
