I want another tat that symbolizes my children... ideas?

A friend of mine had a necklace tattooed on her and did a charm for herself and her children, something that reminded her of them, one was into soccer so she had a charm tattooed that looked like soccer cleats and so on for each kid, it was beautiful and really special.

If I had to do this for my kids I would do what their fav toy at the age of 3 my son would be a train, (like thomas) and Ariel the little mermaid for my daughter. I love the age of three, no longer a tot but not a big kid yet. Its the most wonderful time of childhood....this is a cool question!

What's your nationality? Maybe have their names written in the language of their heritage? A good idea would be to make a triangle, with the three sides, being their names, written in cursive.....

I saw one guy who had an angel, resting his head on his hand (he was on a cloud)....and underneath, he wrote the names of his kids.

Also, maybe you could find a word that describes how you feel as a mom....say "blessed"....or "pure love"....or "unconditional love"....and have that written in your native tongue....or maybe a different language, that is in your bloodline....(like I have German, Irish, and Blackfoot Indian in me...so, I could use any of those....)

The possibilities are endless.

Is it for a specific child? Pick what they are most interested in and make a symbol for that. I did this, a separate symbol for each one of my father-in-laws grandchildren on a single t-shirt and 10 years later he is STILL getting compliment after compliment.

How about putting their dates of birth on you. Once met a man who had his daughter's birth date tatood on his arm. It was very touching.

I let my son be involved in the design picking of the tat. Then we printed it out in black and white and I let him color it however he wanted. And then I had it inked.

A nice wrap-around the wrist band with their names on (in) it.
Please do not go for the old baby picture tat. ever one I have seen looks like $h^%!
