A major outside of the STEM disciplines will require you to go all the way past the BS to grad school, and then additional training besides. If you want that, then you need to dig in now, because it ain't school anymore, it's your career, and it is work.
STEM is Science, Technology, Engineering, Math. Psych. may be science, though those in the hard sciences disagree.
I have a niece, a psych. major who is working with the prison population and besides having to work for a PhD, she has gone through internships. Expect that, or expect to be brilliant in your major and tenacious if you want a career.
