do lots of research. practice reading lines, audition for plays at college.
research on how to get an agent.
and again. practice reading lines.
take some model shots.
you may have to move to california or somewhere where you can audition for parts.
it's not an easy business, and it's highly competitive.
screen acting isn't your only option. if you have the voice, you can go into voice acting as well.Like (2)

Go to college for something else but pursue that dream. I wanted to be am actress and I learned so mmuch. Did so much. Took lessons, made resume, sang, etc. My dream was crushed though when I visited Hollywood and everyone hated me for some reason :(. DONT LET ANYONE GET IN THE WAY OF UR DREAM
