Then just make friends with people and you may find what you have been seeking without even looking. Sometimes people try too hard to impress on the internet or bars and aren't honest in either place. Just be who you are not some phony and you'll find like minded women out there.

If it helps at all, my brother met his bride to be while hiking on the hiking trails where he lives. She is a very nice caring lady and I'm happy they found each other. They are a perfect match.

I think the best way to meet someone is to be totally selfish. Set goals for yourself and don't even think about finding someone. Do whatever hobby you like to do but just be active. This way you will have common interests and end up meeting. When you are at your happiest that's when you will attract someone to you.
