You might enjoy my approach. I started early in the morning wearing skirts with a ba
seball cap and walking around the block, low visibility, just for the rush, and to discover nobody shot me. Next, I went to a large park in a skirt and top and ran deep into the park before finding a bench, so I was trapped there; no way to leave without walking past other people coming by. Scary then, but exciting too. Next, I discovered that you can wear running skirts -especially with a stripe down the side - because they look like baggy shorts at a glance, and then you can walk around all you want. Truth is, very few people care what you wear. Now, if you wear a flowery summer dress in the store, you might get a different reaction, but you can see my pics: I now go to big grocery stores in a couple of skirts - not all of them, some are so girly I'm not gutsy enough to try them there - and nobody minds. Finally, I've discovered I can wear the prettiest, frilliest dresses and skirts if I'm at the laundromat. That's a really nice time to just hang out, catch up on your reading or emails or EP posts; people go back an forth by you and - at least at my laundromat, in the first few hours after they open- nobody minds. I choose the outfit and I'm careful about the audience: I won't try skirts or dresses if it's a high-testosterone young male with girlfriends to show off for environment. Like (1)

Just remember that "less is more" most crossdressers make the mistake of overdoing it, thus they end-up looking like painted drag queens.
