    Do you have a guaranteed job if you do go over? As in you've already been offered the role?

    Then I wouldn't. 20% of Americans can't find a job there themselves. You'd need to give them a damn good reason to hire you. Not saying you're not smart, just be prepared.

    what country are you coming from ? what type of work are you looking for ? have you applied to any american companies yet ?

    I'm from Philippines working here in Saudi Arabia for almost 11 years im kind of peed up in this country

    apply for some jobs first. you want to have something to look forward to upon arriving in the u.s. don't be nervous about it, just do it ! :)
