I was looking for the tiniest bit of comfort and empathy but have received none. No one wants to get involved.How sad?

We have had a death in family but no one even asked why I was sad. :(

    Holding up as best they can. It's just too sad, particularly at this time of year. The kids don't understand...Oh Lord. Me? Trying to stay strong...but ...it will be easier tomorrow. Thanks Simplygirl.

    They got to spend Christmas...hoping they'll look back that way, later. Hard for the adults, trying to help the kids through :( [hugs]

    This world lacks compassion and empathy due to reality's lie and deceit of pain and anguish of trials and tribulations that shunned people away from another through their own malformed egos. I'm sorry for your loss though...that's sad but know time will heal all wounds, so grieve properly and just cope as best as you can. Maybe they're choking from the passing itself and are denying it.
