Years ago I worked hard to get a little weight on my 3 year old son because he was painfully thin. My mother in-law was all over me about it. I found that chocolate chips is the highest calorie thing I could find to feed him. I counted all his calories through the day. I knew after a period of time I couldn't get him to eat what a normal 3 year old ate. I started force feeding him a table spoon of chocolate chips every evening. He gained 3 pounds in a couple months. I worked hard to keep it on him. After 6 months I quit forcing him to eat. He lost the weight in a week.

icecream and chocolate cake<br />
Generally, foods with a lot of fat and carbohydrates (sugars) will pack on the pounds. It won't be a healthy weight gain though.
