Well, I'm not sure if you mean 5'0.5 or 5'1/5'2 but your body mass index (which is only approximate considering it doesn't take into account your age, genetics and bone structure) is twenty nine if you are 5'0.5 or 28.5/27.6 if you are 5'1/5'2.
You do fall into the category of overweight, which is unhealthy. Fat is something you don't want to think of yourself as. If you are overweight that effects on your health. It causes joint stress, heart issues, fatigue, and if you're not careful Type 2 Diabetes.
If you're concerned with the way you look, if you become a healthy weight this will make you look good. It's the human bodies nature that the healthier you are, the more attractive you are.
If you're looking at losing weight there are a number of things you can do.
1. Discuss it with your parents/guardians or anyone you trust and are close to. From this point on this person is your partner in your journey. Everything is discussed with them and they give you advice and motivation too. (Although you will need independence too).
2. Create a meal plan. The easiest way to do this is with a Daily Calorie Needs calculator. Just google it, and a good one should ask your age, gender, height, weight and most importantly your exercise levels. The result is the number of calories you need to maintain your weight. Just decrease that by a few calories and your good to go.
3. Exercise for 30 minutes a day. It makes it easier if its fun because then you are less likely to avoid it. Try riding your bike, walking your dog or joining a sport team.
4. Don't starve yourself. That'll just make it much more difficult to lose weight in the future. Your metabolism will be very damaged and your body won't be able to trust that it will get adequate nutrition.
