You decline this advance but....Do you keep it low key and to yourself.......to avoid a hassle?

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
you just open the door for all kinds of questions: when did this happen? where? did you encourage it? why didn't you tell me sooner? what if it happens again? what are you going to do to make sure it doesn't happen again? i'm going to call them right now!! this better not ever happen again or i'm gonna____________ fill in the blank with any and every kind of nonsense you can think of.

workplace flirting is common, it's just social play most of the time and shouldn't be taken seriously. just laugh it off and move along.........

Yeah, I probably wouldn't mention it to my hubs.

But things in my line of work are a little different--I'm a bartender. It's almost expected that patrons as well as coworkers will get cheeky to some extent.

I'd keep it to myself so he wouldn't worry about something that's not going to happen

Nope. I wouldn't say a word to their significant other. I would simply decline their advances and tell them to move on to someone else. As for their significant other, they will figure it out eventually.

No way. It would cause unnecessary tension.

He tells me though because I couldn't care less.

I would tell mine, I think he would be more upset if I didn't tell him.

Absolutely not! Interesting topic since a cute guy at work has been hitting on me via instant messenger (we work together but he is in a different city/state). He knows I am married but I enjoy the attention. He is in town for work next month and has been talking about hooking up.

Tempting.....
