Clearly you want us to say that C killed B to frame A. But I know B well: I am he. And I have a secret. B faked his own death to get A and C into trouble - quite understandably, B is bored shitless with both of them. And now he is living the life of riley on the insurance money. (thanks, Mrs B, for going halves... we were thinking of separating anyway). Now don't tell anyone, ok?

C doesn't have a motive to kill B. C doesn't care about B and actually has something in common with B, they both hate A.
