Depending on the underlying issue as to why someone cheated, then maybe there is a way to salvage the relationship and give them a second chance but just be very cautious... "Screw me once, shame on you, Screw me twice, shame on me"...Love ya gal...*HUGZ*

If I was truly in love with him, I would give the relationship another chance. We would need talk about it a lot, but maybe I would try to understand him.

As much as it would hurt . I think trust is to big a part of a relationship and I would have to move on.

If the person cheated on me then they wouldn't be in love with me, and who's to say they wouldn't cheat again. As much as it would hurt, I would have to end the relationship and move on.

Been there, done that. He did it 3 times. Yeah, I'm a slow learner. Sent him packing finally to go cheat on other people.

I agree with Loretta YoungSilks. Sometimes there is more to the situation. I've been there and done that as well. But even when someone loves you, that doesn't make them perfect. This one truly depends on the person, and the relationship..

As sure as I would cheat on them first to know what it's like and I'd keep on cheating to have the upper hand so that I would not get dogged out again.

After twenty years in this relationship this question has come up several times. We both have agreed that as long as you keep coming home to one another there would always be unconditional love here.

But since it has never happened, I don't think that I can really give an honest answer. I'd like to think that I would.

No and the reason being is that it lets them know that what they did was okay and they will do it again and again knowing that you love them so much that you will let them ruin you and you would be right there like a love sick fool taking them back every time. Been there done that.

If I were truly in love with this person, I would talk to him and find out why he cheated. If it were somethin I was not doin, I would also try to change. Of course I believe in openness in a marriage, so if it were because he just needed a little excitement in the marriage, I would try to help him find that excitement and not have to look for it outside the relationship. It does take two to change the problem.
