i doubt it would come to full scale civil war, but afghanistan does have a centuries long record of going to war with itself. by the way, contrary to popular belief, we are NOT at war with afghanistan. we are allied with their forces in rooting out the taliban.

There really is no way to know what will happen in Afghanistan when we leave. A civil war, in my opinion, is probably not going to happen though. At best it'll just continue to go along the way it was before we got involved.
