The pigeon. No other creature shares a closer history with man. They have been utilized for centuries. In the Old Testament one brings an olive branch to Noah. In the New Testament the Holy Spirit is represented by a dove. Doves are ancestors to the dovecote bird, or pigeon.
Pigeons were domesticated by man and used to deliver messages in times of peace and war.
When one thinks of pigeons in a city walking unalarmed amid the bustle of traffic and feet it is now apparent why: we were once their masters and companions.

My baby Biggie Smalls. He's a cat that thinks he's a dog because he loves to play fetch.

That would be the saddest day ever! Dogs are the best! You can't replace them, no matter what. But I also believe you cannot replace cats or ferrets or other animals. I love them all. I would never trade.

None, for if the coyote never existed, roadrunners would have risen up and taken over the planet. Prairie dogs could fill the void and be the roadrunners best friend.
