Resolved Question

If I made a math axiom "God=Universe" would U believe in God?

I MADE the definition God=Universe, iamworkingonit, what do you think equals means [Technically there should be 3 bars, not two to signify "by definition" or "is equivalent to", but my keyboard lacks this mathematical sign]? Don't tell me what an axiom is, it is a statement people agree to take as true OR is self evident [wikipedia]. If you don't agree, as pukirahe doesn't, we can proceed no further with what the axiom implies. Theorems are proved by axioms and hypotheses are verified or disproved by theorems. In one system parallel lines do NOT meet at infinity while using different axioms they DO.
pukirahe: your answer indicates only that you do not accept MY axiom and want to start from YOURS instead. That's not quite on point here. Not an invalid point BTW.
SummerWind18: don't get angry but your answer WAS on point and you may regret that you just accepted the existence of God AS I DEFINED God=Universe!

An axiom is some thing that is self-evident. You have a hypothesis (if that). Also define "God". So...definitely no.

I'd love to hear this axiom. I'm not being sarcastic.

It still wouldn't make me believe dinosaurs existed, or that we evolved from apes. The 'Bible' didn't say that either!

lol @ twistedsounds... God is insufficient because he doesn't do some nonsensical paradox to prove himself to you? Hahahahaha. I don't think it works that way, darlin'.

Anyway I don't think the axiom helps me... it just makes the situation more confusing.

God is the Creator of the universe, hence your axiom is not acceptable.
