stay with ur girl... u and ur x broke up for a reason... it's not fair to the new chick. i was torn between my new beau and my x but it's just old familiar feelings... if it was meant we would still be and it would have been easy... all things happen for a reason. maybe, one day, if it doesn't work with the new chick and if ur x is single u guys will find ur way back to each other... no easy answer. my best advice is no matter what u do be honest with both women. if i was ur girl and knew u still loved ur x and wanted her then i wouldn't want u. good luck to u.

depending on how much you love your gf and how well that relationship is working you could ask for a time apart where you see neither and think. Also, does your ex still love you? Another factor to consider is why the relationship w/ the ex ended or didn't work? Is there any reason it would be different now?

Its curious to me that you say you 'still' love your gf rather than just the fact that you love her. What's with the 'still'? Do you plan on stopping to love her at some point?

I think your ex is better off without you, especially when you're dating a girl solely as a placeholder for them. You should break up with your current girlfriend and move on from both of them if you're just going to pine after someone else.
