    and some of the best architects - like frank loyd wright design ALL the furniture for the house/building with the house - so there IS no interior design tobe done - getting into talieson west requires some damn good grades and talent though.....

    taking extra courses is always "good for your reflective tranquility" as my professor has always said in addition to, "keep your books and start your own library" and I agree. Expanding your knowledge can always come in handy at some point or another. but the answer is no, I have met people that go to school to be kindergarten teachers that become accountants on a whim. And plus architecture is involves design so I am sure that taking classes that involve different forms of referential design and art will be required either in your elective classes or required credit classes.

    I doubt most interior designers take courses but I'm sure you can do both on your own accord....
