    I always thought ignorance was a virtue and patients were found in a doctor’s office.

    On the contrary, true understanding and acceptance is bliss, patience is a result of such understanding and acceptance.

    Essentially yes...but those two don't really go hand-in-hand. Ignorant people often don't seem to hold that virtue.

    It means if you ignore everything around you, you've got nothing to worry about, so you can be patient and never have to hurry.
