I would say not a douche, a douche is somebody who gets your contact details the sly way because you may be of use to them.

I suppose you'd both be "douches" in that scenario. People get busy, though; life interferes. I wouldn't feel too bad about it.

I dunno... Sometimes its like how people say 'Hi, how are you?' when they're really not expecting a real answer... 'yeah good, how are you?'... it's not a real question. They're not interested in knowing how you are... it just puts the conversational ball back in the other persons court. 'Hi' isn't a question so they say 'how are you?" so you have more obligation to reply. I reckon often when people say 'stay in touch' its because they don't know how to say 'good bye' and then just leave. So no, I don't think there's a moral imperative there.
