I'd do the same as most people and invest in business. With the money i'd make i would indulge in food, wine, art, cars and electronics. My home could do with some re-styling too.Last but not least i'd set all my nieces and nephews up with all their little hearts want and need.

Open my own business and within a few years, donate a large portion, if not all of the $100k per year, to some worthy charities/causes.

Spend most of it on needy animals, and my time would mostly go for caring for them. And of course, painting rusty old lamp posts.

I used to make, (not GIVEN) 300K per year in a very high pressure industry. If someone out of the blue came up with that kind of money i'd donate it to mental health programs and establish a public trust endowment with PBS promoting education in science and agriculture.
