    where I live, anyone under 18 cannot inact a legal contract...and an adult cannot enter into a binding contract with them....

    For goodness sakes, you gave a gift, that's it, end of story.

    You are obviously angry with the niece, but that's no justification for trying to take back something you gave unconditionally.

    Just because circumstances changed, is no reason for such a nasty act.
