You cannot break through to anyone if there is anger and resentment there. Either you wait until it has dispelled, or you walk away. If you did something wrong, you can say you're sorry, but if there is anger in the way, it may not even matter. Don't confront anger with more anger, because that will only lead to real madness.

I say, tell them you are sorry that they are upset.....even if you are not wrong. It helps pave the way to understand when they ARE ready. I really am at the age when I am less concerned about being right than about repairing the relationship. My goal in life, is to bring about peace. I have already sent 2 messages to people that have hurt me deeply in the past and I offered friendship and understanding and forgiveness.....as I believe life is all about relationships. It doesn't matter how others act....only how I react.
