Meaning............That your parents or relatives or friends may say something that may hurt you to the core. Or your best friend just might sleep with your lover, too. You were robbed, then it was a family member. And if you trust your friend, then why did they talk about you.

I only knew one person like that once. At the beginning of our relationship, he said, "I will never hurt you", and for the remainder of our relationship (1 1/2 years), he held true to his word. true, ppl who love you can hurt you, and sometimes hurt you more than anyone else cause u expect nothing but the best coming from them. What you should keep in mind is that they mean to do it, they didn't think in the consequences of their words/acts.

I read alot of the responses and some are very well spoken. I agree the everyone hurts you but the ones that love you, it seems to hurt more. the real answer to solve the problom is simply forgivness. if they love you and you love them then forgive them for there offensense. False: If someone loves you they wont hurt you intentionally, but it is impossible not to hurt the other at all, because your words and actions have an effect. Feelings are bound to be stepped on time to time. If it didnt,I would think they dont care for each others actions or words enough to be affected.

I totally agree. People who love us, or say they love us, can hurt us. Words can cut like a knife. Someone can hurt you physically, we see this in alot of domestic violence cases where the other person will say, but, I love you, I really do, give me another chance. Friends can betray us, or let us down. There's all kinds of hurts - emotional hurts, mental hurts, spiritual hurts -- we are affected.
