Like anything it depends on the circumstances...<br />
At best he was a jerk at worst I would say yes it could be considered criminal in some circumstances.
we all have choices, they ultimately did it and it is incredibley selfish to do it because someone told you to do , and it is incredabley selfish to blame yourself for it or think you made them commit a crime??? why to the second, because you are just seeking self pity for a cruel reqest that you had no way of making take that pill, jump off that bridge etc we all have a choice. no matter what , nothing is good or bad it just is.
If there's not there should be. Anyone who tells someone to kill themselves has problems, and the justice system should figure out the mental intent of that individual and deal with them accordingly. To me, it's murder, your weapon of choice: someone elses' hand. <br />
Imagine this: If you were with someone and as you both stood in a room together, you encouraged them to pull the trigger. Kept telling them, "do it, do it". And they did- THAT'S MURDER. Our perception is altered a bit by thinking of the individuals being apart at the time the incident occured, BUT I I guarantee, that "do it, do it" would be playing in their mind like a broken record. Same situation... It's murder.
No,unless they assisted the person in some material way - otherwise it would just be either hearsay,or a ba<x>seless allegation.
Technically no, but they are probably a horrible person.
yes, you could go to jail with charges of manslaughter. and if you tell them to but they don't and they report you, you can get fined $25,000 and 10+ years in prison for encouraging suicide
