If someone you loved was unsure of you?
My live in BF and I have been having problems for a few months. It came to a head last week and we talked about separating. I love him very much and want to work through this, but he is unsure. We started talking about this last Wednesday and had holiday plans, so we said we would just get through the weekend not discussing it and enjoy the festivities. Now I am at work and stressing hard. I don't know if I should just keep my mouth shut and see what he does and not make anything heavy or tell him if he is unsure he needs to go stay with his brother for a little and figure it out b/c I am worth it and cant live with someone that is unsure of me.

I agree with all of the above. He might just need time but only you know what he says or how he behaves towards you, so only you can decide. It's hard but just step back, don't see what you want to, just see. If it's over, save yourself further pain. independence is empowering. hope you're happy soon, x

If your BF isn't prepared to put any effort into your relationship you shouldn't waste your time on him. Get rid of him ASAP. There are plenty of other fish in the sea.

It is heart wrenching to be constantly questioned and given no confidence in. This is a tough situation but if you want this relationship to work and truly commit to it....he also needs to understand his role in this. Explain both of your feelings completely and honestly without hard feelings. We all have a hard time not taking talks such as this personally, but in order to remain in tact emotionally we not only need to talk about these things but talk openly without taking it personally. Make that a ground rule and go from there.......I wish for you whatever makes you happy.
