Because the laws of physics still apply.

I'm sorry, we have been keeping it from you. We hoped you wouldn't notice. Now we have to be firm - sorry if it seems a bit rude, but it's our time machine. If you want one go get your own.

Just because you can mess it up for the rest of us going alone for the ride.

The same reason time travellers from the future don't come back to visit use, or if they do & don't want to see their predecessors they just hang about in their time machine, & folk here mistake it for aliens

you have to be willing to do it through a dimensional shift which can possibly kill you or one of your descendants. if you never will have kids you can only hope that your siblings or a close cousin has carried on, but without a direct recipient your chances of survival drops significantly. This week put a lot of money on the Ravens to win it all and tomorrow's power ball is 5,9, 26,41,44 pb 18 besides good luck on that whole financial crash thing.

yes... if something is really big and lasts a very long time why can i not yet teleport and go into the future.
i feel this is only borderline what constitutes a question.... why would the size of the universe in space or time imply anything else?Like (1)

Everytime you fart while teleporting the reverse thrust pushes you right back to square one
