If the Democrats and Republicans can't get anything done in the next two years and we need to cut spending...

what would be wrong with laying off our "leaders" for a couple of years?

They will be Okay.. They can sell off a mansion or two to make ends meet.

I say if they can't get anything done they don't get paid!

Hell, we may do better without them.

The Tea Party is going to squeeze them by the balls until they get the message. 25 more Democratic Senators are up for re-election in 2012, and most of them will be "forced into retirement." The American People have spoken and they all got the message. We can keep dumping these career politicians at every election. If they aren't smart enought to read the writing on the wall, their @$$ will be gone.

I totally agree. But rather than have no one - will you lend us Sarah Palin to rule UK jointly with the queen.

Good question Johnny. If they cannot get anything done, then why lay them off? It would be the same. Or do you mean to save the taxpayers money by not paying them?

Some think not getting anything done is a good thing. The less the government does the better. What do you think?

Yes, why pay them if they don't get anything done?

I feel the Government has it's roll to play. We pay them to do a job. Why pay them when they do nothing but steal from the people and draw them into wars of profit. If they don't get anything done then it's time for a new Government.
