If the menu said Cherry/Vanilla Coke, what do you think it is?

Specifically would you assume it's Cherry/Vanilla Coke you buy in stores or Coke with a squirt of cherry flavor?

edgargeorge	Posted Jun 23rd, 2009 at 10:41PM I don't know where you live, but here we still have old fashioned soda shops where they mix sodas by hand based on the flavors you order. So I'm guessing it is Coke syrup with vanilla and cherry syrups mixed in...hell...I'd try it! :) Rated: +2Vote for this!

otagator	Posted Jun 23rd, 2009 at 10:17PM Probably not a Coca Cola product. It was a common practice in the days when soda fountains were common to add some flavored syrup to Coke products. Cherry and Vanilla were common additions. thus the inspiration for the Coca Cola products you find in stores with those respective flavors. Some old style restaurants and diners, especially 50's theme places still flavor their own cokes for this effect. Most likely what you are referring to is regular Coke with cherry and vanilla flavorings added in house at the restaurant. Rated: +1Vote for this!
