If there is a creator, isn't it more likely that he caused the Big Bang and has since moved on?

The creation of God is far more intelligent beyond the childish imagination about Big Bang. There is a clear meaning and purpose in the world of creation and the world of revelation. It has nothing to do with the purposeless incident being described ridiculously as evolution. The theory of evolution leads to the conclusion that life and death are from dust, so the morality is surviving like the evolution of dust.

Well he/she/it would not be wasting time getting caught up in all the details..which kinda helps explain a few foibles in the design..Its a bit like having sea-monkeys for pets..

This is pretty darn close to what I believe. Whether or not he has moved on...debatable. Read the RAMA series by Arthur C. Clarke. Interesting stuff - especially the last book in the series.

It's almost impossible for anyone to set off a bomb and not want to see the fireworks....

Of course if God is omnicient he /she wouldn't need to stick around...

Unless God is omnipresent, in which case he would be the big bang and everything born of that singularity.

Except where God decided that free will begins and no-interference precedes the ticking of a new cosmic clock.

Or, that God somehow oversees the creation of the infinite branes connected in the unseen multiverse..

Peace

I will answer your question with a question. If it was God who was the primal cause of the Big Bang, what existed before God? Who created God? Or did we just make all this **** up 6000 years ago to satisfy questions we still can't answer"

Its both. God created the big bang theory.
Otherwise, everything is by chance and coincidence. It would just be a coincidence that the right amount of collisions, gases and chemical reactions occured 4.4 billion years ago to form the perfect amount of molecules, organisms, density etc. Oh, and here's something to think about...according to Stephen Hawking, a Physicist, if the universe's density(1 second after the big bang occurence) were greater by one part in a thousand-billion, the universe would have recollapsed within 10 yrs. If it the density were less by the same amount, the universe would have been empty after 10 yrs.

I rather believe that than thinking someone is watching my every move. I really don't like being watched, real or not real.

Why do you ask this?

Why is it "more likely that he caused the Big Bang and has since moved on?"

Just curious what you base such questions on?
