If there was a tamper proof video camera system for your car would you buy it? Read on-

This would be a digital system that would record audio and vidio inside and outside the car in all dirrections and activated by a push button and could be set to record 1,2,3, or 4 hours every time the button is pushed and the audio/vidio would be stored in a tamper proof DVR that can only be accsessed with a special code or be transmited on activation to a special website. When I say tamper proof I mean it can only be accessed by the company that instaled it or by the owner with a special code and the unit will indicate if some one tampered with it or attempted to destroy it. Also it could be set up to record anytime the the car is towed or someone trys to steel it. Would you buy it? How Much do you think it would be worth?

If something like that is developed and available I would be inclined to buy just the sticker with its logo on it.

Due to micro electronics and mass production I would say $1000. or $1500 for basic and up to $2500 for custom deluxe with lifetime mantinence.

    All security can be cracked
Everything that can go wrong will go wrong

But no worries....with a system so advanced it is more likely to have the security device stolen and you can keep the vehicle.

If the device was bolted down in a sealed box and can only be fully used with a spacial code or electronic key making it useless to eveyone but the owner no one would steel it. You don't see people steeling cars to get the lowjack box.

It would probably cost more to install and maintain than my car is worth... lol Would you contact insurance companies to negotiate reduced rates for your clients?

Onstar doesn't record what the cops say and do when they pull you over also when a cop gets behind you, you could turn it on and it would record the street your on, how fast your driving, what color the lights are, everything, It would be undisputable proof in court.

I M not an advocate of this intrusion. Just as I am not an advocate to the forced digital broadcasting that the government has imposed. (To allegedly free up air space LOL) free up air space? Really!?!?! Wake up people!!! The fact you're being led into the digital era in a "Got to have this next WhoHa-DoDad!" Is as easy as the Germans leading the Jews into gas chambers, promising a better environment. We are being led to believe a lie about our government's real intent. Your Monitor, Your Satellite reception, your phone are all now two way streets. That's the benefit of digital! "Unidirectional information push n pull. In other words, you can be viewed as easily as you are viewing your favourite program! Think it isn't possible? How many cameras are on your phone? Two? Lol! Try again! How many cameras on your monitor? How many in your bright shiny new HD flat panel you have been led to covet all these years? It only makes sense the automobile is next. I mean ... why not? Every block is on lock, why not your Volkswagen? Lol! Actually it isn't funny at all. However its happening! Thank you George W. Bush and his war on terror! This is why you even have access to "where's my family ATT value added plan!" Or cellspy programs. Otherwise what the government is intrusion of privacy. However if we all have a taste of the technology its now just common market technology. To answer your question, I wouldn't say,"Yes.", to this. However I believe it cant be stopped. Btw..Are you loving your new Galaxy S III!?!?!?! LMFAO!
