No, no freaking way. Marijuana use has been linked to accelerating the onset (and even creating the onset) of paranoid schizophrenia. I would rather not impose a mental illness on my child or children.

Marijuana usage can cause dependency and chronic usage is associated with mental illness complications such as schizophrenia, possibly depending on gene variants of the individual and the quality of the marijuana.
Why on earth would anyone want to introduce their kid to that??
Not to mention that chronic usage also leads to a shift in brain chemistry and thus brain function, and the brains of adolescents are apparently still developing well into their 20's. Seriously... what the?
