If it were possible to define "we" in the right way it would appear that in an interconnected causal world we would be responsible for everything in the next moment. However "we" may be defined only to exist in the moment, which would mean the responsibility goes on no one. If however we make a somewhat global definition of "we" applying to all moments then one would require appropriate assumptions about the world we live in, namely connectivity and causality.
