Isn't that more a question for the women? And besides, aren't woods usually full of nutritious berries and unsuspecting woodland critters?
(Seriously, it would depend a lot on whether breast feeding would mean they got hungrier faster. Seeing as how they've got future babies to support... Probably not.)
