I'm 53. Both of my Grandmother's lived till their late 90's. If I"m lucky enough to do the same, I'm going to do it the way my Dad's mom did. She found the ravages of time very funny, she laughed at herself all the time, I mean really big belly laughs. One of the last memories I have of her, is watching her shuffle very slowly with her walker down the hallway from her bedroom, singing to herself in a weak voice "The Old Gray Mare She Ain't What She Use To Be." And laughing.

Do I class as a senior cit? I am 56!

Inside I feel i am 26 but with years of alcoholic abuse, my

body is so old I don't recognise myself anymore!

You just have to deal with it ...No-one else will do it for

you!...We ALL have our problems; This is Mine!!

I am not a senior citizen but I am 43 going on 44.

I notice a lot of changes mostly with PHYSICALLY HOW I FEEL. When if I have back aches I feel it more. Luckily I do not have knee pains but I can't run so I bike.

memory is still sharp probably from years of school!!!

I have a saying, "Life begins at 40, by 60 your stuffed", after I turned 60 my arthritis set in, 2 hip replacements, and now its beginning in the knees... for those that are in their late thirties early 40's, take care of the bod, exercise.

I am 77 now.... I have a sweet granddaughter aged 8, a grandson aged about 2 and twin grandchildren in the making; its nice to get to know them (especially when they can talk to one intelligbly).

Technology-wise, I have seen the change from wax cylinder phonographs through 78 rpm shellac disks, to vinyl microgroove records, to CDs, to mp3 players - with interest and amazement! Same with modes of transport. I still prefer to deal in the supermarket through a checkout operator rather than an automatic serve-yourself machine; I don't have to figure things out when something unexpected happens. But technologically, I have been an "early adopter". Cell phones also never cease to amaze me.

Health-wise, although I have had a few accidents in my life, health has been pretty good. In the last two years I have noticed things like joint pain, eye, ear and teeth degradation and prostate gland problems coming to the fore, and indicating that my body is degrading - as they all do, unless one takes particular pains to prevent it. And I do what I can, but living in our Western society in an apartment block, with little money, there are numerous things I could theoretically do but can't in practice. So I will have to accept gracefully that in due course this body will come to its "use-by" date and be laid to rest. Hopefully I will not suffer a lot of traumatic dysfunction in the intervening time. Then I will be off to explore the new chapter of life in the dimensional realms, which should be interesting!
