I guess anything is possible, and while its sweet to say (means you mean a lot to this person), I think it sounds a tad unhealthy, could become obsessive and that can be dangerous.

I can't think how you can purely love someone too much. The problems come when we act like idiots because we love someone a lot. Jealousy, controlling/abusing the one we love, stalking, etc...all in the name of love. I guess then that love has turned into something else.

Yes. If "love" for that person hinders your own thinking and makes things difficult for you...even to make other decisions that are important, then I would say it is too much.
