    Liberals and socialists always end up broke. They depend on conservitives to support them. California, Chicago, Detroit, all big liberal losers.

    Conservatives hands down everytime, look at the states now that are conservative/right to work and u will find that unemployment is lower and didn't need government handouts to get over the recession we are still in. Unions/to much government & big banks caused all the problems we had & still having so why would any right thinking person want to be a liberal?

    The liberal states would end up with all the people looking for government handouts and with ho way to pay for the massive increase in their welfare rolls would go broke
    The conservative states would end up with all the industrious, innovating and self supporting individuals and all the wealth.

    I am ignoring which states get to go to which side because that would complicate my answer.

    In general, the liberal/socialists would have a net influx of people early on, both those who think that the social programs are right and those who want to take advantage of such programs.

    As time progresses, the productive people would leak out into the conservative side. Here is why: There is a quiet portion of the conservatives who really hate all forms of government entitlement programs including corporate ones. If they suddenly become a major chunk of the populous -- which they would in that twenty-five state scenario -- they would work vigorously to curtail those absurdities. The result would be an environment conducive to innovation and creativity where the fruits of one's labor remain with him, do not go to others who do not even try.
