AIDS since it being a syndrome, if cured, implies a cure for a lot of diseases as well. I know, cancer is name for a complex of diseases, but, given the high occureznce of cancer in AIDS patients, AIDS cure would still be the one with bigger fall out.

Cancer... since there's no prevention for it. You have prevention methods for AIDS and you can avoid getting it.

Cancer because there are so many different types that affect every part of your body that all can kill you.
I heard on the news a month ago that they are using the O negative blood type to counter act AIDS and may even have a possible cure for it.
plus I have O negative blood, I can't get AIDS, id rather there be a cure for something I have a possibility to get.

Cancer. AIDS can sometimes be avoided, and while cancer can be also, there are so many different types of cancer that I feel as though more people would have it. Also, personally, I lost my cat and my maternal grandmother to cancer, and am about to lose my paternal grandfather to the disease as well.
