The La's "There She Goes"
Results. When played for four hours continuously, I enjoyed it thoroughly for half an hour, but wasn't really conscious of it playing in the background after 2 hours. In the third hour, I was still bobbing my head and whatnot when not occupied with other things, but in the fourth hour, I could no longer appreciate the music. Listening only brought awareness of the lyrics to the fore. Still, I could not interpret my fatigue as dislike of the song; merely the strong desire to turn on the TV instead.
Conclusion. "There She Goes" is the perfect song, provided it is not played continuously.
