If you could pick any (past) decade to live in which one would it be and why?

I would have liked to live in the 20's. The roaring 20's. I love the dances they danced and their clothing was beautiful. All their outfits had hats that matched and the shoes were down to earth. Clothing has never been so beautiful since. That is when a LADY WAS A LADY.

I would want to live in the 60's, So many changes going on all over the world. People really believed that society could be changed. They believed in something.

I grew up in the 60s and money was good and free love.

The 60's definitely without a doubt. My mom told me all of her stories about graduating H.S. and starting college in the mid to late 60's and it just sounds like such an interesting time. And not to mention the music of course!

Hmm... this is a toughie. But if I had to pick, I'd choose probably the 90s. So much awesome stuff happened as the world made its way towards the 21st century, and I missed it because I was too young!

1935-1945
The tail end of the depression and the start of WW II. Comfortable and peaceful? No.
It was a time of big changes, a lot similar to the times we are in today.
And, those 40's styles are so sexy!

Well, it's a toss up between the 60's and 70's, because in the 60's there was Woodstock and all that, but in the 70's Led Zeppelin were at their best, so, that's the best I can come up with.

I would choose the 50's because the world had recovered from the depression, families still meant a mom AND a dad and children and extended families and friends still had time for each other which helped establish strong lifelong bonds. No trashy t.v., much less home wrecking behavior.

I would want to live in the '60s because even though blacks went through a lot of tragic stuff, we fought to make things better for generations like mine. Or the '70s because I think I would've been a black panther or an activist. Or the '90s because the style was cool and I was too young to enjoy it. I'd like to live through any time period from the fifties to the nineties because they all had great music as a soundtrack to life.

The 70's. Because I just loved the feeling of that era. Everyone had something they truly stood up for. New things were being tried and discovered. Some people weren't afraid to be open minded.

The Roaring '20s and the '60s. I think there's a lot of exciting stuff going on right now, too, though.

the 60's because I'd like to come back here and show our peeps how to make a revolution happen by learning from their mistakes in the 60's and showing that idealism can work!
